Mills Lake Painting
This is a digitally enhanced photograph. The original is my image "Spring Thaw."
Topaz Labs' Impression 2 was used to add painterly effects.
With its long winter coat of ice receding, and the snows of spring abating, a beautiful mountain lake reveals itself anew.

Rocky Mountain National Park
The image was made using a Canon EOS 5D Mark III digital body and a Carl Zeiss Makro-Planar T* 50mm/2 ZE lens, tripod mounted. From one base exposure (0 stops) made at f/8, 1/800 second, and ISO 100, six additional exposures (at -3, -2, -1, +1, +2, and +3 stops) were derived in Adobe Lightroom using multi-RAW processing. All seven exposures were merged in Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 to achieve maximum dynamic range, with the final image processed using Nik Color Efex Pro 4 and Lightroom.
